ScaffLedger is a UK business and the data controller for information provided during an initial enquiry. This notice explains what we collect, why we use it and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

If you email us, we may receive your name, company name, email address, telephone number, workforce size and any information you choose to include about your office processes.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to respond, arrange a review, understand whether our service is suitable and prepare a proposed scope. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract and, where appropriate, our legitimate interest in managing genuine business enquiries.

Who receives it

We do not sell personal information. It may be processed by service providers that support our email and business systems, subject to appropriate safeguards. We disclose information where required by law.

How long we keep it

Unsuccessful or inactive enquiry information is normally deleted after 12 months unless we have a legal or operational reason to retain it. If you become a client, information is retained in line with the service agreement and applicable legal requirements.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to the use of your personal information. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
